Dr. Frank Abbate Jr.

Dr. Abbate has a passion for working with runners, skiers, and weight lifters. He has helped many endurance athletes recover from training programs, to prep for races, and become pain free before races over the past few years including their preparations for Boston Marathon bids and the Senior Games. In addition to runners, Dr. Abbate has been able to assist strength athletes and gym goers work through movement and mobility issues that held them back from personal and state records for their age classes. His unique approach allows patients to have an active role in their treatment plan as opposed to relying on hands on care alone. His belief is that if he can teach someone to take care of themselves then his job becomes incredibly easy to assist them achieve their greater goals.

I've been seeing Dr Frank for the past few months for help with soreness and discomfort in my neck and back. I have Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) which affects the collagen in the body and leads to extra stretchy tendons and ligaments... Which leads to lots of muscle tension and tightness, along with subluxations of various body parts, tendons popping into the wrong places, injuries that never really heal, and a lot of back pain.
